PROPERTIES: Colorless solid. Melting point 84°-85°C. Vapor pressure 19 nPa (20° C). Solubility (25°C): acetone >500 g/kg; ethanol, cyclohexane, n-octanol >10 g/lg; ethyl acetate >200 g/kg; toluene >300 g/kg.
Toxicity: (Rat): Oral LD50 3040 mg/kg (male), 2090 mg/kg (female); mice >5000 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 >2000 mg/kg. Inhalation LC50 >6.04 mg/l air
Uses: For grass weeds in beans, beets, potatoes, soybeans, vegetables, cotton, flax, ground nuts, oilseed rape. With safener fenchlorazole-ethyl for grass weeds and wild oat in wheat, rye, and triticale.
